Women in Music & Media Panel: Discussed women's roles in media and music with radio DJs, festival organizers, and a musician, focusing on barriers to entry and "paths to empower." This panel was organized by the North Carolina Alumnae Collective of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and The Young Black Collective. (October 2017)

North Carolina: The New American Heartland: Moderated a panel of musicians and activists titled Resistance, Protest, and Activism in North Carolina Music. This panel was part of a three-day conference hosted at the National Humanities Center in the Research Triangle Park, and panelists included Mykki Blanco, Pierce Freelon, Shirlette Ammons, Grayson Haver Currin, Tina Haver Currin, and Will Boone. Pop Conference: Delivered a presentation on artists' responses to North Carolina's controversial and discriminatory House Bill 2 (FU HB 2: Battles of Bands and Bathroom Bills) for the annual Pop Conference at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, Washington. (April 2017)

Carolina Bluegrass Summit: Moderated a panel titled Bluegrass on Record, which explored the impact record labels have had on bluegrass artists' careers. The panel was part of a day-long conference held by UNC-Chapel Hill's Southern Folklife Collection, and featured Dave Freeman (County and Rebel Records), Marian Leighton Levy and Ken Irwin (Rounder Records), and Barry Poss (Sugar Hill Records).
