I'm a writer for hire based in Brooklyn, New York and my work has focused on music and culture since 2010. In addition to music reviews and features, I’ve written about everything from the history of tiki drinks, developing my own personal style, and what it was like to see Louis C.K. at one of his “comeback” dates.

Before making the jump into full-time freelance work, I worked as the music editor at INDY Week, the alt-weekly serving Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and surrounding areas in North Carolina. On a freelance basis, I’ve contributed to Pitchfork, NPR Music, Bandcamp Daily, No Depression, She Shreds, The Bluegrass Situation, and others.
